Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

ADHD Point Clinic (“ADHD Point”, “we”, “us”) aims to offer high-quality care with clear, fair and transparent rules on cancelling, rescheduling and refunds. Please read this policy before you book. By making a booking, you confirm that you understand and agree to these terms.

1. Scope

This policy applies to all ADHD Point services, including the online ADHD pre-assessment, adult ADHD assessments, consultant psychiatrist appointments and therapy with a psychologist.

2. Cancelling and rescheduling

2.1 Six-hour grace period

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge within six (6) hours of making your booking. After this six-hour window, the rules below apply.

2.2 More than 72 hours before your appointment

If you cancel more than seventy-two (72) hours before your appointment, you will receive a full refund. You can also reschedule free of charge.

2.3 Within 72 hours of your appointment

If you cancel within seventy-two (72) hours of your appointment, no refund will be issued.

If you need to reschedule within forty-eight (48) hours of your appointment, a rescheduling fee of 20% of the original appointment fee applies.

2.4 Missed appointments

If you do not attend your appointment, or join more than 15 minutes late without telling us, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation and no refund will be issued.

2.5 Exceptional circumstances

In exceptional situations, such as a medical emergency or bereavement, ADHD Point may, at its discretion, waive or reduce the rescheduling fee or offer a refund. Please contact us as soon as possible.

3. Payment

Payment is taken in full when you book. If you choose to pay in instalments with Klarna, your instalment agreement is with Klarna, and any refund due under this policy will be returned through Klarna.

4. If we need to cancel

If ADHD Point needs to cancel or move your appointment, for example because your clinician is unwell or because of a technical problem on our side, we will offer you a new appointment as soon as possible or a full refund. You will never be charged a fee for a change we make.

5. Refunds

  • Method: Refunds are made to the original payment method.
  • Timing: Please allow up to ten (10) business days for the refund to appear in your account.
  • How to request: Email info@adhdpoint.ie with your name and appointment date.

6. Disputes

If you disagree with a cancellation, fee or refund decision, please email us and we will review it. If the matter is not resolved, it will be escalated to clinic management. This policy does not affect your rights under Irish consumer protection law.

7. Limitation of liability

ADHD Point is not liable for any loss, damage or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including technical problems with your own device or internet connection, or failures of third-party services.

8. Events outside our control

ADHD Point will not be responsible for delays or failures in providing our services caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics or government action. In these cases we will offer you a new appointment or a refund.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. The version in place at the time of your booking applies to that booking.

10. Contact us
